Karate Canada is pleased to announce that in its efforts to ensure stability and continuity in the preparation towards, qualification for and performance at the Tokyo 2020(21) Olympic Games, it has further extended, consolidated and formalized the roles and status of its lead Coaches in this program, who have successfully been driving such programs over the last few years, in both eligible disciplines.

We thus sincerely wish to congratulate and thank our Tokyo 2020 Olympic Program Head Coaches, Ms. Pam Ross (kata) and Mrs. Nassim Varasteh (kumite) for their continued focus on and commitment to this program, as they will continue to lead it through to the Tokyo Games, and as Canadian karate athletes and coaches pursue success in this first-ever Olympics for karate.
