Karate Canada is pleased to announce that in accordance with its 2018-2019 Carding Nominations Criteria, the following 7 athletes have been selected for nominations (and have accepted these nominations) to Sport Canada’s Athlete Assistance Program department, for Carding support during the 2018-2019 cycle:

• Rita Ngo (SR2 Card)
• Daniel Gaysinsky (SR Card)
• Kenneth Lee (SR Card)
• Haya Jumaa (C1 Card)
• Nicolas Bisson (C1 Card)
• Melissa Bratic (C1 Card)
• Toshihide Uchiage (SR Card)

Athletes have a review period of seven (7) days commencing on the date of this announcement (April 2nd 2018), to advise Karate Canada of any omissions or errors in this nomination list. Please note that nominated athletes must meet all eligibility requirements on the first day of the start of the 2018-2019 cycle (May 1st, 2018) in order to benefit from Carding support. Final approval of nominations will be determined by Sport Canada.
