Ross Rumbell Award Recipient: 2013

Richard (Dick) Grant’s journey into the martial arts began by driving his child to the dojo.  Upon witnessing the benefits of training, he began to engage in the karate world as a photographer, documenting the progression of his child locally, provincially, nationally, and internationally in the sport.  Boasting a keen eye for the sport of karate Dick has captured the spirit of our sport’s history capturing images of countless athletes, coaches, officials, and administrators and has graciously shared them with the world – a practice he continues to this day.
