Please note that Karate Canada has recently adopted several changes to its 2018-2019 Senior National Team Criteria, so as to better align with the international calendar of events and so as to allow for better alignment of the Senior National Team kata and kumite programs. The main changes include: 1- an updated calendar of events; 2- a common Karate Canada ranking points system for kata and kumite (Table 4, part 2) as of January 2019, and; 3- revised rules for exemptions from mandatory participation in the 2019 Senior National Championships, as well as the 2019 first Senior National Training Camp (see Appendix B).
