Karate Canada, in partnership with Karate Newfoundland and Labrador, Karate Nova Scotia, Karate New Brunswick and Karate PEI, is pleased to announce the upcoming 1st Atlantic Regional Kumite Training Camp of the season, which will be coupled with an Open Elite Kumite Seminar led by Karate Canada’s Senior National Team Kumite Head Coach and two-time World Championships silver medalist Mrs. Nassim Varasteh. This 2-day event will include numerous training sessions open to all Youth, Cadet, Junior, U21 and Senior Provincial Team athletes (with only one invitational session reserved exclusively for National Team Roster members and invited training partners). The Training Camp and Kumite Seminar will take place on April 29-30, in Halifax (NS). Coach Varasteh will be working in collaboration with Atlantic Regional Training Centre Kumite Coach Mr. Randy Rix and with Junior National Team Assistant Kumite Coach Mrs. Karen Armour for delivery of the various training sessions. You may click here for more information.
