2 NEW BOARD OF DIRECTORS MEMBERS

On November 7th, elections were held during Karate Canada’s AGM. Derek Ryan was elected as VP for KC for a three year term and Alexander David was elected as a Director at Large for a three year term.
“Derek brings a wealth of experience as someone who is very familiar with Karate at both the PTSO and National level as well as a strong administrative background from his professional life.
Alexander is a long time kata competitor who has been on both the provincial and national teams in the past. A former police officer, Alex has entered the legal profession and is beginning a masters program in law. This is an excellent skill set that is being brought to the KC Board.
I want to acknowledge and thank Heather Fidyk for her important contributions to the Board. Heather has chosen to dedicate her efforts to Karate as the President of Karate Alberta. Heather will still be contributing to our national landscape in many ways”
