The Karate Canada Referee Commission (RC) oversees the training, evaluation and certification of all officials at the national level. The RC sets standards for KC officiating and supports provincial officials’ development. The RC members participate in international officiating seminars and tournaments to remain aware of new developments and interpretations of WKF competition rules. The RC monitors the performance and progress of KC officials at all the major international championships. To learn more about becoming a Karate Canada official please refer to the Officials’ Handbook.
