Please note that Karate Canada has adopted a slightly amended version of the 2016-2017 Senior National Team Criteria, for both kata and kumite athletes. The only change pertains to the inclusion of the 2017 Dutch Open Karate-1 Championships (March 2017) to the list of ranking point-earning events (in Section II, Tables 3 & 4), as this tournament will occur prior to the 2017 SNTC-1 (First Senior National Training Camp), which marks the start of the 2017-2018 season, and as the 2017 Dutch Open Karate-1 Championships are therefore to be considered as part of the 2016-2017 competitive season.
