Please note that Karate Canada has updated Appendix A of its 2019-2020 Senior National Team Criteria. In order to be eligible to benefit from an exemption from participation in the 2020 Senior National Championships (and to obtain automatic KC ranking points), athletes must be in the top 50 of the WKF’s Olympic Standing (instead of the WKF rankings in normal divisions), and the Karate-1 event they take part in must occur within 2 weeks (14 days) of the dates of the 2020 Senior National Championships (as opposed to 4 weeks).
