Junior National Team Athletes Ready for 2017 Junior Pan American Championships

Members of the Canadian Junior National Team Roster members selected to compete in the 2017 PKF Cadet & Junior Pan American Championships have arrived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for this prestigious event. The competition will take place from August 23rd-26th, bringing together over 800 athletes from 22 different countries. Karate Canada will be represented by a total of 79 athletes. The team will be supported by Junior National Kumite Head Coach Mr. Denis Beaudoin, National Kata Coach Katarina Vadovicova, National Team Assistant Coaches Mr. Sorin Alexandru, Ms. Pam Ross, and Mr. Gary Sabean, as well as by medical support staff member Ms. Kyra Lindsay-Ng, and Karate Canada President Mr. Craig Vokey. The Canadian delegation will also include four officials. This event constitutes a very important step for our karateka on the road to the 2017 Cadet & Junior World Championships (Tenerife, Spain) and the 2018 Youth Olympic Games (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
