Karate Canada thanks the Government of Canada and the Honourable Adam van Koeverden, Secretary of State (Sport), for strengthening support for national sport organizations through the Sport Support Program.

This support will help us continue developing high-performance pathways, strengthen promotional and “try” initiatives, and give Canadian karate athletes the opportunity to compete and succeed on the world stage.

“This fiscal investment will make a real difference for our athletes and volunteer referees,” said Chris Bright, Executive Director of Karate Canada. “We are grateful to the Government of Canada for recognizing the value of sport in building healthy, connected communities and for helping our National Team chase their goals at home and around the world.”
