Karate Canada will soon hold its annual National Kata Training Camp for Senior National Team athletes. This invitation Training Camp will be led by our National Team Kata Head Coach Mrs. Katarina Vadovicova, and will take place at te Steveston Karate Dojo in Richmond, BC, on August 11-14. This 3 and a half-day event will assemble current Senior National Team Kata athletes (including AWAD / Para athletes), and is also open to invited Junior National Team Roster kata athletes and Youth medalists from the 2016 National Championships. We wish to remind all invited Senior National Team kata athletes that their participation in this Training Camp will be mandatory. This Camp will serve as important preparation of our Senior National Team Roster athletes for the upcoming German Open and World Championships (September & October), and of our Junior athletes for the upcoming Cadet & Junior Pan American Championships (August).
