“ The Karate Canada Board of Directors wishes to state its support for the new President, Ms. Tricia Smith, and the actions taken by the Canadian Olympic Committee Board of Directors to improve its policy structure, to strengthen the Canadian Sport System, and to protect and value the men and women who work at the COC and who do so much good for sport in Canada. At all levels of governance, from the very top to community-based associations, the concepts of integrity, respect and ethical decision making should permeate Canadian sport culture.
