Karate Canada is very excited to announce that 20 of its Senior National Team Roster athletes are preparing to represent Canada at the 2017 Halle / Leipzig Open Premier League Karate-1 Championships, which will assemble teams from all over the world in Halle, Germany, on September 8-10. Our Canadian athletes will be accompanied in Germany by National Team Coaches Katarina Vadovicova, Kraig Devlin and Roman Saltikov, as well as Team Leader / Manager Olivier Pineau. Some international officials from Canada will also be present. This event is expected to be one of the largest and strongest WKF Karate-1 Open Championships ever, with more than 1300 athletes from 86 nations registered so far.
