Team Canada Ready to Compete in Halle / Leipzig Open

Karate Canada is very excited to announce that 20 of its Senior National Team Roster athletes are preparing to represent Canada at the 2017 Halle / Leipzig Open Premier League Karate-1 Championships, which will assemble teams from all over the world in Halle, Germany, on September 8-10. (Click here to see the list of Team Canada athletes.) Our Canadian athletes will be accompanied in Germany by National Team Coaches Katarina Vadovicova, Kraig Devlin and Roman Saltikov, as well as Team Leader / Manager Olivier Pineau. Some international officials from Canada will also be present. This event is expected to be one of the largest and strongest WKF Karate-1 Open Championships ever, with more than 1300 athletes from 86 nations registered so far.
