Karate Canada is profoundly saddened by yesterday’s news of Mr. Ryan Jimmo’s sudden, tragic passing. The son of long-time Canadian Referee Mr. Paul Jimmo, Ryan was actively involved as a karate competitor at the national level for a number of years; he was also a very successful mixed martial arts competitor. He was greatly appreciated and respected by his peers. On behalf of our President Mr. Craig Vokey, our entire Board of Directors and everyone in the Canadian karate community, Karate Canada wishes to express its heartfelt condolences to the entire Jimmo family. Our thoughts are with Mr. Jimmo’s loved ones in this difficult time.
