Six Junior National Team members are presently in Sofia, Bulgaria, in order to take part in the first WKF Youth League K1 tournament this weekend, May 26-27th, accompanied by Coach Pam Ross. This event constitutes an important preparation opportunity in the lead-up to the Youth Olympic Games Qualification tournament taking place in Umag, Croatia, in June. Yamina Lahyanssa (Junior F -53kg), Julia Maclean (Junior F -59kg), Tina Bratic (Junior F +59kg), Michael Plunkett (Junior M -55kg), Tyler Berretta (Junior M -68kg), and Jérémi Lahaie (Junior M -76kg) will be competing tomorrow, Saturday May 26th.
