Please note that Karate Canada has adopted a slightly amended version (version 1.1) of its recently published Senior National Team Criteria for the season starting with the imminent 2018 Senior National Training Camp (May 11-13). The only change from the previous version consists in the date of final team selection for the 2018 Senior World Championships (Madrid, Spain, November) being moved from June to September 2018 (after the conclusion of the 2018 Berlin WKF Karate-1 Premier League event). This change, which follows recommendations from Karate Canada’s High Performance Committee, aims at ensuring that Karate Canada selects the best possible team for the 2018 Senior World Championships, and provides optimal preparation for its team towards this very important competition.
